Denza Z9S Launches Dawn Purple Variant in Dual Power Outputs

DENZA, a premium brand under BYD, has launched the all-new tech-luxury intelligent electric sedan, the DENZA Z9S, adding a new "Dawn Purple" exterior color option. The Z9S is a fully electric sedan offered in two powertrain variants, both featuring a wheelbase of 3,025 mm and seating for five passengers. The lower-power variant measures 5,090 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,510 mm in height, with a curb weight of 2,250 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,700 kg. It is equipped with tires sized 245/50R19 (front) and 275/45R19 (rear), and achieves a top speed of 250 km/h. Power comes from a permanent magnet synchronous motor produced by BYD Auto (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., delivering a peak output of 320 kW and a rated output of 160 kW. The vehicle uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells manufactured by Hefei BYD Industrial Co., Ltd., with the complete battery pack supplied by Shanwei FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd. Standard features include a panoramic sunroof and an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system. Optional equipment includes an electric rear spoiler, alternative exterior mirrors, different door handles, and an ETC onboard unit. The higher-power variant shares the same length and width (5,090 mm × 1,980 mm) but stands slightly lower at 1,490 mm in height, with a curb weight of 2,545 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 3,017 kg. It rides on 245/45R20 (front) and 275/40R20 (rear) tires and also reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Its motor, also produced by BYD Auto (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., offers a peak output of 370 kW and a rated output of 185 kW. The LFP battery cells are supplied by Wuwei FinDreams Battery Co., Ltd., while the battery pack assembly is provided by Shenzhen BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. Like the lower-power version, it comes standard with a panoramic sunroof and EDR system. Available options include an electric rear spoiler, alternative exterior mirrors, different door handles, various wheel designs, calipers in different colors, and an ETC onboard unit.
