WEY V9X Adds 1.5T Variant Starting at ¥331,800, Expanding Dual-Powertrain and Dual-Wheelbase Lineup

On July 16, WEY launched the new V9X Ultra luxury family variant, equipped with a 1.5T Super Hi4 plug-in hybrid system. The official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) is RMB 331,800, with a limited-time promotional price of RMB 316,800. This addition completes WEY V9X’s product lineup, offering two powertrain options (1.5T and 2.0T) and two wheelbase configurations (standard and long), comprehensively covering the premium six-seat SUV market priced between RMB 300,000 and RMB 400,000. Currently, the WEY V9X offers four variants: two family editions and two extended-wheelbase versions, differentiated by powertrain architecture, voltage platform, driving range, and body dimensions. The newly added 1.5T family edition targets urban household use, delivering a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds and a CLTC all-electric range of 400 km, supported by 6C ultra-fast charging technology. The extended and executive trims feature larger-capacity batteries and higher-spec equipment, catering to business and long-distance travel needs. All variants come standard with the Super Hi4 four-speed plug-in hybrid architecture, designed to address common issues in conventional hybrids—such as power degradation under low battery conditions, high energy consumption at highway speeds, and inefficient recharging. Real-world testing shows minimal difference in performance between fully charged and depleted states, maintaining stable output even under extreme conditions. The vehicle also features an 800V high-voltage platform, dual-chamber air suspension, EDC electromagnetic damping, and a rear-wheel steering system with ±20° bidirectional articulation, enhancing handling, comfort, and off-road capability. In terms of intelligence, the WEY V9X is equipped with the VLA large-model-assisted driving system, supporting autonomous scene understanding, predictive hazard avoidance, and voice-command interaction across diverse scenarios—including city streets, highways, and campus environments. The cabin integrates a native AI agent capable of precise user recognition and proactive service delivery, optimizing human-machine interaction. Safety is built upon the Guiyuan S platform, featuring a comprehensive active and passive safety suite validated through multiple extreme-condition tests.
