According to a notice from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), effective at 24:00 on July 17, domestic gasoline and diesel (standard-grade) prices will increase by RMB 300 and RMB 290 per ton, respectively. This adjustment follows volatile upward movements in international crude oil prices since July 3, which pushed the average oil price over the past 10 working days above the level recorded during the same period of the previous pricing cycle. Nationally, on average, the retail price of Grade 92 gasoline will rise by RMB 0.24 per liter, Grade 95 gasoline by RMB 0.25 per liter, and Grade 0 diesel by RMB 0.25 per liter. For a typical passenger car with a 50-liter fuel tank, filling up with Grade 92 gasoline will cost approximately RMB 12 more.
