The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released the 408th batch of the "Catalogue of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," the 87th batch of the "Catalogue of Energy-Saving and New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Preferential Treatment on Vehicle and Vessel Tax," and the 32nd batch of the "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Exemption from Purchase Tax." A number of new energy vehicle models not yet launched have been unveiled collectively in these catalogues. BYD Dynasty Network’s first D-segment flagship sedan, the "Han Max," has been included in the all-electric passenger car list. It offers multiple variants with CLTC range ratings of 820 km, 850 km, 880 km, 970 km, and 1,008 km. The vehicle’s curb weight ranges from 2,260 kg to 2,505 kg, and it features a battery pack with a total capacity of 102.326 kWh. Fangchengbao’s first sedan, the "Fangcheng S" series, also appears in the catalogue, including both Standard and GT versions, with CLTC ranges spanning 730 km to 850 km. The model is expected to launch in Q3 2026, with an estimated price range of RMB 260,000 to 320,000. Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance’s (HIMA) Zhijie brand has added its new all-electric coupe SUV, the "Zhijie RX," to the catalogue. It will be offered in multiple variants with CLTC ranges between 672 km and 852 km and is scheduled to hit the market in autumn 2026. Multiple models from Arcfox Group’s Xiangjie brand are featured, including the Xiangjie S9, S9T, and the full-size rugged SUV Xiangjie G9. The G9 will be available in both BEV and extended-range variants and comes standard across the lineup with an 800V high-voltage platform and dual-motor AWD system. Other listed models include Arcfox’s DaoWen V9 and Huawei-backed Aito’s M9 EV and M6 EV. Volkswagen’s second model in the ID.ERA series, the "ID.ERA 8X," has been included as a plug-in extended-range hybrid multi-purpose passenger vehicle. Positioned as a large five-seater extended-range flagship SUV, it delivers a pure electric CLTC range of 260 km to 345 km. JAC Motors’ Zunjie brand MPV, the "Zunjie V680"—developed in collaboration with Huawei—has also been listed as a plug-in extended-range hybrid multi-purpose vehicle. With a pre-sale price range of RMB 650,000 to 900,000, it is expected to launch in early August 2026. Chery Automobile showcases several new models, including the Fengyun T11 (plug-in extended-range), Zongheng G700 (plug-in hybrid off-roader), and multiple models from the Jetour Shanhai series. Great Wall Motor’s Haval brand debuts its new plug-in hybrid SUV, the "H10," built on the Guiyuan platform and offered in both five- and six-seat configurations, powered by a 1.5T PHEV system. SAIC-GM-Wuling’s Wuling Rongguang L also appears in the catalogue in plug-in extended-range form. Additionally, this batch includes the Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 L 4MATIC BEV, C 350 L 4MATIC BEV, Toyota ES350e and ES500e all-electric sedans, Spotlight Automotive’s ORA 7 (Great Wall’s Ora Lightning Cat), GAC Aion’s AION RT, and Aion i60.
