Volvo EX60 Launches in Europe with Three Powertrains, Up to 810 km Range

On July 17, the Volvo EX60 officially launched and began customer deliveries in the European market, with the first vehicles already on the road in Sweden. The EX60 is a fully electric, midsize, five-seat SUV built on Volvo’s new SPA3 pure-electric architecture. It features integrated die-casting manufacturing, Cell-to-Body (CTB) battery integration, and a centralized core computing platform, and was both developed and produced in Sweden. The EX60 is offered in three powertrain variants: - The top-tier EX60 P12 AWD dual-motor version delivers a maximum output of 500 kW (670 hp) and achieves up to 810 km of WLTP-rated range. - The mid-range EX60 P10 AWD dual-motor variant produces 375 kW (503 hp) with a maximum range of 660 km. - The entry-level EX60 P6 rear-wheel-drive model offers 275 kW (369 hp) and a range of up to 611 km. The vehicle supports 400 kW ultra-fast charging, enabling the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 16 minutes. A 10-minute charge can add up to 340 km of range. Volvo positions the EX60 alongside its best-selling XC60 plug-in hybrid to lower the barrier for customers transitioning to fully electric vehicles. The EX60 is now available for order in Europe and the United States and will roll out to additional European markets over the coming weeks.
