In the second quarter of 2026, all Leapmotor vehicle models completed a major intelligent hardware and software upgrade. Both the Max+ and Ultra+ variants are now equipped with the Shenji NX9031X chip, which delivers a memory bandwidth of 546 GB/s—twice that of other flagship chips in the industry—and supports high on-vehicle inference computing power as well as advanced image and multimodal processing capabilities. To date, cumulative shipments of the Shenji NX9031X chip have exceeded 300,000 units. At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Anhui Shenji Technology Co., Ltd.—NIO’s chip subsidiary—made its debut as an independent exhibitor, showcasing the Shenji NX9031 chip, automotive domain controllers, and newly launched AI products including the "Ruidong" Embodied Intelligence Development Platform and a distributed intelligent agent platform. The company positions itself as a full-stack, full-scenario chip enterprise covering autonomous driving, embodied intelligence, and agent-based reasoning. Additionally, this upgrade applies to all pure vision-based Leapmotor models launched since 2024, encompassing enhancements to the intelligent cockpit, intelligent chassis, and intelligent driver-assistance systems. The updated driver-assistance system features a new end-to-end model that improves urban and highway navigation assistance experiences and introduces functions such as human-machine collaborative driving and personalized parking spot selection.
