The updated model of the Zhiji R7 is expected to debut around October, though the exact launch date has not yet been finalized. As the first coupe SUV under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), the Zhiji R7 is co-developed by Huawei and Chery and features a OneBox design, offering the largest interior space among coupe SUVs in 2024. The 409th batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products” has listed the new all-electric Zhiji R7, which includes three variants—all five-seat multi-purpose passenger vehicles produced by Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. The vehicle measures 4,982 mm in length, 1,981 mm in width, and 1,634/1,650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm and a top speed of 200 km/h, seating five passengers. Additionally, the Zhiji V9 flagship MPV aims to deliver 10,000 units this month. By the end of June, cumulative orders for the V9 had already exceeded 20,000 units. As of May, during the HIMA Zhiji V9 launch event, the company announced that combined deliveries of the Zhiji R7 and Zhiji S7 had surpassed 160,000 units.
