Jin Yuzhi, Senior Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Yinwang, recently stated that "Jie" (Boundary) and "Jing" (Realm) are not conflicting but complementary within Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility ecosystem. "Jie" includes brands such as Wenjie, Xiangjie, Zhijie, Zunjie, and Shangjie, primarily targeting vehicles priced above RMB 300,000. "Jing," currently encompassing Qijing and Yijing, focuses on the market segment below RMB 300,000. Together, they form the showcase layout for Huawei’s Qiankun intelligent solution. Jin reiterated that Yinwang adheres to its strategic positioning as an "electronic screw"—it does not manufacture cars itself but remains committed to helping automakers build and sell better vehicles, driving Qiankun to become a public platform for automotive intelligence. He noted that two years ago, due to supply chain pressures and sanctions, Huawei acknowledged that its intelligent solutions were relatively costly and thus more suitable for vehicles priced above RMB 300,000. Today, Huawei leverages "Jie" to establish high-end, full-stack intelligent showcases while using "Jing" to address broader market demands across various price ranges. He emphasized that although "Jie" mainly targets vehicles above RMB 300,000 and "Jing" focuses on those below this threshold, both product lines may include a limited number of models crossing these price boundaries. With annual passenger vehicle sales in China exceeding 20 million units, the market is large enough to support a multi-tiered pricing strategy. Huawei aims to collaborate with more automotive partners through the synergy of "Jie" and "Jing," offering Qiankun-powered intelligent driving vehicles across diverse market segments to achieve technology inclusivity and deliver safe, intelligent mobility experiences to more users.
