In the 2026 FIFA World Cup final held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Spain and Argentina played to a 0–0 draw after regular time. Ferran Torres scored the match’s only goal during extra time, securing a 1–0 victory for Spain and their first World Cup title in 16 years. On the same day, Yijing Auto announced that the first production unit of its debut model, the X9, has officially rolled off the assembly line. Deliveries are scheduled to commence nationwide starting in September, with market launch planned for the third quarter of this year. The prototype of the X9 was completed and rolled out on June 8 at the Chengdu Economic & Technological Development Zone. The Yijing X9 measures 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. All trims come standard with Huawei’s Qiankun In-Car Light “trinity”: HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel intelligent projection headlights, HUAWEI XSCENE in-car laser projector, and HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display. It is also equipped with an 896-line dual-path imaging-grade LiDAR, Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, and HarmonySpace 6 smart cockpit powered by HarmonyOS. Inside, the X9 debuts a 17.2-inch butterfly-wing dual-screen setup featuring CloudClarity SoftLight technology, enabling seamless dual-screen connectivity while ensuring independent operation for both driver and front passenger. Yijing Auto also plans to launch five new models over the next three years.
