General Motors plans to secure licensing rights for the Wuling Bingo all-electric vehicle through its joint venture with SAIC Motor and sell it under the Chevrolet brand in multiple markets, including North America, Brazil, Mexico, Latin America, and Africa. The model is expected to undergo exterior modifications before being integrated into Chevrolet’s product lineup, primarily targeting emerging markets where demand for small zero-emission vehicles continues to grow. Previously, GM has launched the Spark EUV—based on the Baojun Yueye Plus—and the Captiva EV—based on the Wuling Xingguang S.
