UBTECH Robotics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its Korean partners—Duksan JM Robotics (JMR) and AJIN Industrial, a leading Korean automotive parts manufacturer—to jointly advance a validation project deploying UBTECH’s Cruzr Y1 and Walker S2 industrial humanoid robots on Korea’s first automotive components production line. According to the plan, AJIN Industrial will launch a Proof-of-Concept (POC) project for these robots at its Manufacturing Innovation Factory, which commenced operations in June 2024, in August 2026. AJIN Industrial is a key customer of Duksan JMR in the industrial humanoid robotics sector. This collaboration aims to transition humanoid robots from demonstration and validation phases into real-world industrial applications, establishing an integrated ecosystem combining “UBTECH’s core technologies + localized Korean services + leading manufacturing scenarios.” In 2025, UBTECH reported total revenue of RMB 2.001 billion, an increase of 53.3% year-over-year. Revenue from its full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robots reached RMB 820 million, surging by 2,203.7% year-over-year, with sales volume hitting 1,079 units—a staggering 35,866.7% year-over-year growth. UBTECH’s humanoid robots are already deployed across various industrial settings, including automotive manufacturing, smart logistics, 3C electronics, semiconductors, aerospace manufacturing, and industrial data collection, accounting for over 80% of the company’s business. Its client base includes multiple Fortune Global 500 companies. Additionally, in 2025, UBTECH launched the Walker C1, designed for commercial applications, and “YouWorld U1,” a full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robot tailored for emotional companionship, thereby expanding its coverage across three major application scenarios: industrial manufacturing, commercial services, and home companionship.
