XPENG, a trademark owned by XPeng Motors, has recently been recognized as a well-known trademark by Indonesia's Supreme Court. In April this year, the Indonesian Supreme Court issued a final ruling in the case filed by Guangzhou XPeng Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. against an individual who had preemptively registered the "XPENG" trademark, ordering the cancellation of the contested registration. In its judgment, the court took into account multiple factors, including the trademark’s registrations in various markets, brand promotion activities, public recognition, and prior enforcement records, concluding that the "XPENG" trademark has attained significant international reputation.
