Leapmotor D99 Deliveries Begin: Flagship MPV Starts at ¥249,800, Offered in Range-Extended and BEV Variants

Leapmotor announced on July 20 that deliveries of its flagship D-platform MPV, the D99, have officially commenced. The first vehicle delivered nationwide was received by entrepreneur Chen Xiaofeng. The D99 was launched on June 25 and is available in both extended-range and all-electric variants, with a starting price of RMB 249,800. The extended-range versions include the 480 Deluxe (RMB 249,800), 480 Smart Deluxe (RMB 279,800), and 480 Flagship (RMB 309,800). The all-electric variants comprise the 700 Deluxe (RMB 259,800), 700 Smart Deluxe (RMB 289,800), and 700 Flagship (RMB 319,800). The D99 measures 5,280 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height (1,880 mm for certain variants), with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. The extended-range model features an 800V high-voltage range-extender platform paired with an 80.3 kWh battery pack. The all-electric version adopts a full-stack 1,000V triple-electric system and debuts CATL’s 115 kWh super hybrid cell. Inside, the cabin offers multiple seating configurations: the first and second rows can be fully reclined into a flat bed; the third row folds down 180 degrees to form a bed; or the second and third rows can be folded together into a bed. Additionally, the third-row seats feature a “fishing seat” function and can all be laid completely flat. The vehicle is equipped with a 34.3-inch floating table, 43 storage compartments throughout the cabin, a trunk capacity of 706 liters, and a maximum expandable volume of 2,890 liters.
