Great Wall Motor's all-new Tank 300 officially launched on the evening of July 19, offering five variants covering Hi4-T hybrid, Hi4-Z hybrid, gasoline, and diesel powertrains, with a starting price of RMB 199,800. Within 12 hours of its launch, the model received 15,318 firm orders. It is equipped with a 130 kW front motor, a 37.1 kWh battery, and an electronically controlled part-time AWD system, delivering a WLTC pure-electric range of 105 km, a combined range of 913 km, and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds. The Hi4-Z variant adopts a decoupled AWD architecture with the battery integrated into the chassis. It features a 180 kW front motor, a 200 kW rear motor, a 59.6 kWh battery, and an electric AWD system, achieving a WLTC pure-electric range of 200 km, a combined range of 1,122 km, and a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.3 seconds. The conventional fuel-powered versions offer two engine options: a 2.0T gasoline engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, producing a maximum net output of 162 kW and 380 N·m of torque; and a 2.4T diesel engine also mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering a maximum net output of 135 kW and 480 N·m of torque.
