SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA 5S 'Elegance Green' Unveiled, Launching in Q3

SAIC Volkswagen has unveiled the ID. ERA 5S in a new "Stylish Green" exterior color, with market launch planned for the third quarter of this year. The vehicle features a closed-off front fascia and headlight clusters incorporating multiple angular light elements. It is equipped with semi-recessed door handles and side mirrors integrated with blue indicator lights for intelligent driving functions. The ID. ERA 5S will be powered by the "Xingyun Zhixing" advanced intelligent driving assistance system and the "Yunqi Zhi Cang" smart cockpit. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 407th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," the ID. ERA 5S measures 4,836 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,766 mm. Under the hood, the vehicle adopts a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring an engine with a maximum net output of 77 kW, a drive motor with a rated power of 57.6 kW, and a peak motor output of 130 kW.
