On July 21, an Aito M9 EV Ultra six-seater covered 461.7 kilometers before its battery was fully depleted during a high-speed real-world range test. The test conditions included: driving mode and regenerative braking set to standard levels, with no deliberate energy-saving measures taken; two adult male occupants (totaling approximately 200 kg); tire pressure uniformly set at 2.8 bar; and cabin air conditioning set to 23°C in automatic mode. The entire journey took 4 hours and 35 minutes, with an average speed of 100 km/h and an average energy consumption of 24.1 kWh per 100 km. The vehicle is equipped with a 120 kWh battery and has an official CLTC-rated range of 715 km. The discrepancy between the test result and the official figure primarily stems from differences in average speed—the official CLTC test uses an average speed of 83 km/h, whereas this test was conducted close to the highway speed limit. For highway trips, it is recommended to plan a charging stop around the 400-kilometer mark after a full charge to avoid running out of power. Range could be further extended by reducing speed or minimizing the use of electrical accessories. In another previous real-world round-trip test on the Chengdu–Chongqing Expressway, the same model achieved a range of 539.8 km before depletion under an average speed of 81 km/h.
