On July 21, the Yangwang U7 received an OTA update to version V2.4, introducing 11 new features and optimizing 10 existing ones. Key updates include enhanced privacy protection with a new "One-Tap Clean" function that instantly clears map search history, navigation routes, dashcam footage, and Sentry Mode videos. It also triggers the air conditioning system to purify the cabin air and activates the fragrance system to eliminate odors. Navigation and Bluetooth call volumes now have independent controls, and navigation voice prompts automatically mute during incoming calls. The dashcam gains a manual on/off switch, allowing recording to be disabled in specific scenarios while preserving emergency snapshot and accident recording functions. User interface improvements include a new Dynamic Island-style notification area, global font size adjustment, and a one-tap option to turn off exterior lights. In terms of multi-device connectivity, integration with Honor smartphones has been enhanced, enabling seamless transfer of phone-based navigation and apps to the vehicle’s infotainment system, along with support for customizing the home screen wallpaper. Hardware refinements include improved tactile feedback for power-operated doors, automatic deactivation of ambient lighting when no passengers are detected in the rear seats to save energy, and smoother anti-pinch motion for the tailgate. For BEV models, the air conditioning logic has been optimized to better manage wind noise during high-speed driving.
