Toyota announced a $3.6 billion investment in its plant in San Antonio, Texas. The investment will fund the construction of a new production line, scheduled to begin operations in 2030, creating over 2,000 new jobs and increasing the plant’s annual production capacity by approximately 150,000 vehicles. Additionally, Toyota plans to relocate Tacoma pickup truck production from its Mexican facility to the San Antonio plant within four years.
