On July 19, the all-new Tank 300 made its debut at the Hangzhou Esports Center, launching five trim levels covering four powertrain options: gasoline, diesel, Hi4-T, and Hi4-Z. The official manufacturer-suggested retail price ranges from RMB 199,800 to RMB 259,800. Within 12 hours of its launch, the model received 15,318 confirmed orders. Developed based on feedback from nearly 600,000 existing users, the new Tank 300 features 553 systematic upgrades, with more than half of its components updated. It retains the iconic boxy design—a signature look that the company says will remain unchanged long-term to preserve brand recognition—while extending the wheelbase and refining proportions to enhance cabin space and driving stability. Key improvements also include upgraded interior craftsmanship, human-machine interaction, intelligent features, and powertrain and chassis performance. In terms of powertrains, the Hi4-T hybrid variant employs a mechanical four-wheel-drive system, positioning it for serious off-road adventures. The Hi4-Z hybrid adopts a triple-motor architecture, optimized for urban commuting and light-to-moderate off-roading, balancing performance and efficiency. Gasoline and diesel variants continue to be offered, catering to diverse budget and usage requirements. On the tech front, the long-wheelbase hybrid version is equipped with LiDAR and full-scenario NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) advanced driver-assistance capabilities. Purchasing incentives include trade-in subsidies, flexible financing plans, complimentary long-term maintenance, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
