Nissan Recalls 168,000 Armada and Infiniti SUVs in U.S. Over Incorrect GVWR Labeling

From:Internet Info Agency 2026-07-22 08:33:00

On July 21, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Nissan North America is recalling approximately 168,000 vehicles, including certain 2020–2026 Nissan Armada models equipped with 22-inch wheels, 2011–2013 Infiniti QX56 models, and 2014–2027 Infiniti QX80 models. The recall stems from an error in the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicles’ certification labels, which could lead owners to overload their vehicles and thereby increase the risk of a crash.
