Deepal S05 New Model Officially Unveiled: Features LiDAR and Smart Driving Blue Indicator

On July 22, Changan Deepal announced the upcoming launch of its all-new Deepal S05, positioning the vehicle as a "globally stylish, laser-intelligent SUV." Teaser images reveal that the new model will be equipped with LiDAR and Deepal’s signature intelligent driving indicator light ("Smart Driving Blue Light"), suggesting a significant upgrade in advanced driver-assistance capabilities. Official details regarding specifications have not yet been released. The current Deepal S05 measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. It is available in five exterior colors: Aurora Silver, Starry Blue, Moonlight White, Celestial Black, and Lunar Grey. The vehicle is offered in both all-electric and range-extended variants. The range-extended version delivers a fuel consumption of 4.35 L/100 km under low-battery conditions, with a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 200 km and a combined range of 1,234 km. The all-electric variant features CATL-supplied cells in its "Golden Bell Shield" battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 510 km and supporting 3C fast charging as well as 6 kW vehicle-to-load (V2L) power output. Both variants deliver a peak torque of 320 N·m.
