The all-electric Mazda6e sedan has officially launched in Thailand, with a starting price of THB 1,169,000. It is offered in two rear-wheel-drive long-range variants: the Mazda6e Long Range RWD Premium priced at THB 1,169,000 and the Mazda6e Long Range RWD Exclusive priced at THB 1,199,000. The vehicle is imported fully built-up from China, produced by Changan Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. in Nanjing, and exported to overseas markets. Developed jointly by Mazda and Changan Automobile, the Mazda6e is based on the Deepal L07 platform. It is marketed as the Mazda EZ-6 in China and uniformly named Mazda6e in international markets. The car measures 4,921 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,491 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,895 mm. It offers a trunk capacity of 330 liters, expandable to 1,074 liters with the rear seats folded down, plus an additional 70-liter front trunk. Powering the Mazda6e is a rear-mounted electric motor delivering a maximum output of 258 horsepower and peak torque of 290 N·m, paired with a rear-wheel-drive layout. It features a 77.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, offering an NEDC-rated range of 654 km, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, and achieving a top speed of 175 km/h. The charging system supports Type 2/CCS Combo connectors, enabling up to 11 kW AC charging and 194 kW DC fast charging. This allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 15 minutes, adding around 235 km of range. Although sharing its platform with the Deepal L07, Mazda has fine-tuned the chassis system, including components such as shock absorbers, springs, front control arms, subframes, and suspension mounting points. Inside, the cabin features a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, and an augmented reality (AR) head-up display. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Sony audio system, voice and gesture controls, wireless phone charging, and remote smartphone connectivity. The higher-spec Exclusive variant adds Nappa leather seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, and 64-color ambient lighting. The intelligent driving assistance system is Level 2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear autonomous emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
