Changan Auto and China Telecom Sign Strategic Partnership to Build "Vehicle-Network-Cloud-Satellite" Ecosystem

On July 22, China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and China Telecom Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. Zhu Huarong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Changan Automobile, and Ke Ruiwen, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Telecom, attended the signing ceremony. Deng Wei, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Changan Automobile, and Li Yunzhuang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of China Telecom, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Prior to the signing, the two sides held working talks. Under the agreement, both parties will deepen collaboration in areas such as vehicle procurement and employee services, transparent supervision, and treasury system construction, guided by the principles of “innovative breakthroughs, complementary strengths, and win-win cooperation,” and jointly advance the development of an integrated industrial ecosystem encompassing “vehicles, networks, cloud, and satellites” (Vehicle-Network-Cloud-Satellite). Additionally, Avatr, Deepal Auto, Changan Qiyuan, and Changan Kaicheng—subsidiary brands under Changan Automobile—each signed framework agreements for business cooperation with China Telecom Chongqing Company. China Telecom stated it will leverage its “Cloud Transformation, Digitalization, and Intelligent Empowerment” strategy and its integrated five-in-one intelligent cloud architecture to support Changan Automobile’s digital-intelligent and green transformation. In turn, Changan Automobile plans to utilize its “Tianshu Navigation” advanced driver-assistance system to evolve its products toward intelligent, upgradable robots. Following the signing ceremony, Mr. Ke Ruiwen and his delegation toured Changan Automobile’s best-selling vehicles and motorcycles. Relevant department heads from both companies participated in the event.
