BYD officially unveiled its all-new B-segment sedan, the Qin MAX, on July 23. Positioned between the Qin L and the Han, the vehicle is set to launch on August 13. The Qin MAX features BYD’s Flash Charging technology and the "God’s Eye B" advanced driver-assistance system. Its exterior continues the Dynasty Network’s "Dragon Face" design language, with a front fascia combining a full-width light bar and slim headlamps, semi-recessed door handles, 18-inch wheels, and Chinese knot-inspired贯穿 taillights at the rear. Inside, the cabin is offered in a Dawn Purple color scheme, featuring a floating central touchscreen, a column-mounted gear shifter, a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and piano-black trim panels. The center console retains a few physical buttons and knobs for essential functions and includes threaded mounting holes for expandable accessories such as action cameras. The Qin MAX measures 4,866 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, and 1,495 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. In terms of powertrains, the all-electric version is available with either a 240 kW or a 120 kW motor. The plug-in hybrid variant pairs a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine—producing a maximum output of 74 kW—with an electric motor delivering up to 175 kW.
