Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s FREELANDER Evoque 8 will make its domestic debut and launch in August. The new model comes standard across all trims with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8397 automotive-grade chip, and an 800V high-voltage platform. Design-wise, it carries forward the styling language of the Concept 97 concept car, measuring 5,118 mm (or 5,185 mm) in length, 2,050 mm in width, and 1,898 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,040 mm. It features a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. The second row is equipped with “Super Zero-Gravity Seats” offering massage and heating functions, along with overhead screens. The third row includes cup holders and provides adequate passenger space. The manufacturer has unveiled the full range of exterior colors, including limited-edition shades—Heat Gold Lime, Twilight Purple, and Flow Light Silver (matte)—as well as inspiration colors: Polar Night Black, Summit White, Radiant Copper, Fjord Blue, and Flow Light Silver (glossy). This model was co-developed by FREELANDER in collaboration with Huawei, CATL, and Qualcomm.
