On July 23, the all-electric BYD Denza Z9 GT made its real-world debut in a new Midnight Blue color. The vehicle was launched on July 15 with two new exterior colors—Midnight Blue and Moonlight Beige—as well as a Shadow Black interior option, with Midnight Blue originally introduced for overseas premium markets. The Denza Z9 GT is available in both all-electric and plug-in hybrid variants: the plug-in hybrid version features a 63.8 kWh battery pack, offering 401 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,301 km, while the all-electric variant delivers up to 1,036 km of range. All models come standard with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, enabling a significant charge in just 5 minutes and nearly a full charge in 9 minutes.
