In the second quarter of 2026, Tesla delivered 480,000 vehicles, a 25% year-over-year increase, and reported revenue of $28.24 billion, up 26% year-over-year. However, the company's operating profit for the same period was $400 million, a sharp 57% decline compared to the prior-year period. Tesla CFO Vaibhav Taneja stated that despite market headwinds, order volumes at the end of Q2 reached their highest level since 2023, though production growth remained constrained by supply chain bottlenecks in batteries and electronic components. Additionally, the new energy vehicle markets in Europe and the U.S. were impacted during the quarter by factors including the outbreak of war in the Middle East.
