The fifth-generation GAC Trumpchi GS4 officially launched on July 24, with a limited-time starting price of RMB 79,800. Buyers can enjoy up to RMB 10,000 in cash discounts, up to RMB 15,000 in trade-in subsidies, and complimentary equipment worth up to RMB 6,000. This five-seat SUV features an all-new exterior design and measures 4,680 mm long, 1,860 mm wide, and either 1,675 mm or 1,660 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. Under the hood, it is powered by a third-generation 1.5T GDI turbocharged direct-injection engine paired with a 7-speed efficient wet dual-clutch transmission, adopting a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. Its WLTC-rated combined fuel consumption is 6.98 L/100 km. The suspension system consists of a front MacPherson independent setup and a rear five-link independent suspension. Standard features across all trims include LED automatic headlights, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, an electronic shift-by-wire gear selector, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. The vehicle also adopts semi-recessed door handles. The top trim adds a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade.
