Emerson Launches Modular Test Architecture for Automotive Displays and Camera Interfaces Using NI Technology

Emerson has introduced a new modular test architecture designed to address the complex requirements of testing displays and cameras in software-defined vehicles. Built on NI technology, this architecture combines high-performance FPGA cores with interchangeable Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) interface modules, enabling engineers to flexibly configure test systems based on specific application needs. The architecture leverages the NI PXI platform and includes the NI PXIe-1480 FlexRIO multi-protocol vision carrier module, paired with swappable interface modules. The initial set of interface modules supports the FPD-Link IV high-speed video interface, making it suitable for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and in-vehicle display applications.
