On July 24, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, unveiled the exterior design sketches of the BYD Han Max. Positioned as an all-new D-segment flagship sedan under BYD’s Dynasty Network, the vehicle is scheduled to make its official debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in August and will be offered in both plug-in hybrid and all-electric variants. The Han Max continues BYD’s “Dragon Face” family design language, featuring a low-slung front fascia and a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor integrated with BYD’s latest intelligent driving assistance technologies. Its side profile showcases sleek, flowing lines, while the rear adopts a wide-body stance. The vehicle measures 5,256 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. In terms of powertrain, the Han Max is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology. The all-wheel-drive variant delivers a CLTC-rated range of 880 km, while the rear-wheel-drive version achieves an impressive CLTC range of 1,008 km.
