In Zhongshan, Guangdong, an auto parts factory that has supplied Honda's China operations for nearly three decades is now struggling to maintain its previous production pace. The plant, designed with an annual capacity sufficient to support the production of approximately 2 million vehicles, currently operates intermittently—often running for several days before shutting down for a few more. Due to insufficient orders, some employees have started seeking temporary jobs elsewhere to supplement their income.
