Mazda has recently released official images of the updated Mazda3 and CX-30, both of which will debut in the Japanese market in August. The new Mazda3 is available in both hatchback and sedan body styles, with a starting price of ¥2,365,000 (approximately RMB 98,000). The updated CX-30 starts at ¥2,640,000 (approximately RMB 109,000). Exterior updates include a new Aerodynamic Grey Metallic paint option for both models, while the CX-30 additionally offers a Zinc Green Metallic finish. Inside, the CX-30 introduces a new grey-and-white interior color scheme, ventilated front seats, and an underbody-view panoramic camera system. Both models receive upgraded driver-assistance systems, adding door-opening warning and adaptive high-beam functionality, along with enhancements to Emergency Lane Keeping, Smart City Brake Support, and full-speed-range Adaptive Cruise Control. Under the hood, both vehicles continue to offer 1.5L and 2.0L naturally aspirated engines as well as a 2.0L Spark-Controlled Compression Ignition (SPCCI) engine. A new 2.5L naturally aspirated engine option has also been added. All variants are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and are available in either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations.
