Geely Galaxy Warship 700 Global Debut: World’s First AI-Powered All-Terrain SUV Unveiled, Headed to Milan in July

Geely Galaxy Battleship 700 made its global debut recently in Hangzhou. As Geely’s first AI-powered, full-terrain hardcore SUV, it is scheduled to showcase overseas in Milan, Italy, on July 26. Built on a native new-energy off-road architecture, the vehicle is positioned to deliver a premium experience that balances rugged off-road capability with long-distance family travel and overlanding/camping scenarios. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle exceeds 5 meters in length and features a 2.9-meter wheelbase. It offers two plug-in hybrid powertrain options: a 1.5T and a 2.0T variant. The 1.5T dual-motor AWD version is equipped with a 120 kW peak-power engine paired with an electronic limited-slip differential system, suitable for light off-road conditions. The 2.0T triple-motor AWD version features a 160 kW peak-power engine arranged in a front P3 single motor + rear dual P4 in-wheel motor layout. This setup delivers a combined system output of 830 kW (approximately 1,128 horsepower), enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 4-second range and a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 392 PS/tonne—the highest among all mass-produced off-road vehicles globally. The rear axle is fitted with a mechanical differential lock and supports millisecond-level vector torque distribution, crab-walk mode, and tank-turn capability. All variants come standard with a 47.14 kWh CATL LFP battery pack, offering CLTC pure-electric ranges of 165 km, 170 km, or 185 km, with a total combined range exceeding 1,200 km. Exterior design adopts a bold, boxy aesthetic. The front fascia integrates a full-width light bar and an illuminated logo containing 84 LED units. The “Tianyi Eye” headlights house a matrix of 228 high-brightness LEDs. The hood features flat air vents and pronounced character lines, while orange accents and tow hooks adorn both sides of the front bumper. A roof-mounted lookout-style LiDAR unit enhances perception capabilities. The side profile maintains a classic “boxy” silhouette, complemented by conventional door handles, automatic retractable running boards, and a roof rack. At the rear, a side-hinged tailgate and externally mounted spare tire (“little backpack”) complete the rugged look. The interior emphasizes a “balance of strength and refinement,” featuring clean, symmetrical square surfaces across the dashboard, center console, and door panels. A five-screen interactive system includes a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, a 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 15.2-inch AR-HUD, a 12.66-inch passenger display, and a dedicated rear-seat control screen. An 18.5-liter dual-door refrigerator with wide temperature range (-6°C to 50°C) is integrated into the cabin. Both driver and front passenger seats feature standard 14-point full-body massage functionality with eight TCM-inspired massage modes, plus ventilation and heating. Configured as a spacious five-seater, the cabin showcases diamond-quilted premium leather door trims and speaker grilles adorned with mountain-range motifs. With an industry-leading interior space utilization rate of 80.3%, it offers best-in-class shoulder, leg, and headroom. The trunk provides 1,050 liters of cargo capacity, supported by a total of 63 storage compartments throughout the cabin. Unique features include flush door sills, second-row doors that open up to 80 degrees, and the segment’s only dual-opening panoramic sunroof—delivering the largest side-window glazing area in its class.
