Chery Fulwin A9 Electric Coupe Launches from ¥106,900

On July 25, Chery officially launched the Fengyun A9 all-electric fastback sedan, offering three variants: the 655km Pro, 655km Max, and 655km Max with LiDAR. Their official launch prices are RMB 109,900, RMB 119,900, and RMB 129,900 respectively, with corresponding "Super Trade-in Prices" of RMB 106,900, RMB 116,900, and RMB 126,900. The vehicle measures 4,836 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width, and 1,489 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It is available in seven exterior colors—Begonia Red, Mountain Mist Purple, Cloud Pink Beige, Snowy White, Xuanwu Gray, Mingsha Jade Green, and Ink Stone Black—and two interior color schemes: Nightfall Purple-Black and Misty Purple-Gray. The car boasts an aerodynamic drag coefficient of just 0.223 Cd. Powering the Fengyun A9 is a single electric motor delivering a maximum output of 178 kW and peak torque of 275 N·m. It is equipped with a 70.11 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a CLTC-rated range of 655 km on a single charge. The vehicle supports DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Inside, the cabin features an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, both running Chery’s Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 system. The standard version uses the automotive-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, while higher trims upgrade to the high-performance 8678 chip built on a 3-nanometer process. For advanced driver assistance, the top-tier variant is equipped with Chery’s Eagle ADAS suite. Its hardware includes one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radars, eleven high-performance cameras, twelve new-generation ultrasonic sensors, and one high-performance autonomous driving chip. This setup enables features such as urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), highway NOA, and automated parking.
