Li Auto has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan’s automotive group Allur to localize production of Li Auto vehicles at Allur’s plant in Kostanay. The partnership was finalized during the Kazakhstan-China Roundtable Meeting and officially announced by Li Auto on July 24, marking the official launch of its first overseas localized production project. The collaboration aims to shorten vehicle delivery lead times, reduce purchase costs for customers, and provide manufacturing capacity support for Li Auto’s overseas market expansion. Li Auto stated that localized production will enhance its competitiveness in international markets, though it did not disclose specific production capacity details.
