The all-new Kia Seltos has been officially unveiled and will open for pre-orders on August 13. As the second-generation model, it is built to Kia’s global manufacturing standards and features upgrades in intelligence, cabin space, and powertrain systems. Exterior design follows Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy, featuring a bold front fascia with a vertically textured wide grille and Star-Map LED lighting. Vertically split headlights and a broad front skid plate create a rugged stance. The vehicle is available in five solid colors and two dual-tone options, with the X-Line variant exclusively offered in Spark Orange and Matte Gray. The side profile integrates flush door handles and wide-body plastic cladding, complemented by an upward-sweeping character line that flows into a floating roof. At the rear, full-width Star-Map LED taillights, a hidden rear wiper, and an extended rear spoiler enhance its dynamic look. With dimensions of 4,460 mm (length) × 1,830 mm (width) × 1,640 mm (height) and a 2,690 mm wheelbase, the new Seltos is 75 mm longer and has a 60 mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor. Inside, the cabin features a 27-inch ultra-slim panoramic display paired with a 10-inch interactive screen, powered by the automotive-grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. Piano-key-style climate control buttons, a rotary electronic gear selector, and a panoramic sunroof with opening functionality further elevate the interior. The X-Line trim adds 11 exclusive features, including blacked-out badges and dark-finish alloy wheels. Additional amenities include ventilated and heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, and a smart hands-free power tailgate. Powertrain options include a 1.5L + IVT and a 1.5T + 8AT combination. The 1.5T engine delivers 200 PS and 253 N·m of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission—making it the only model in its class equipped with an 8AT. The 1.5L engine produces 115 PS and 144 N·m, achieving a combined fuel consumption of 6.54 L/100 km. The Seltos offers four drive modes—Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart—and three traction modes tailored for snow, mud, and sand conditions.
