Ford Launches Limited-Edition Bronco Desert Rising—Only 1,000 Units

Ford has unveiled the Bronco Desert Rising Special Edition—the first offering from its new “Horizon Series” of factory customization packages. Based on the Bronco Outer Banks trim, this special edition features a pink-dominated exterior inspired by the hues of cactus blossoms, lake waters, and sand dunes surrounding Utah’s Great Salt Lake. Exterior highlights include a light-pink accent around the front grille, with deep magenta Bronco lettering. Large, optional sand-dune graphics in pink tones can be applied to the sides of the vehicle. It rides on custom white Method wheels and features Ford Custom Garage badging along with a white galloping horse emblem at the rear. Inside, the cabin is adorned with a unique serialized badge, pink-accented overhead handles, and two-tone magenta-and-black seats with pink contrast stitching. This package is exclusively available on Bronco Outer Banks models finished in one of four colors: Oxford White, Shadow Black, Avalanche Gray, or Ruby Red—and will be limited to just 1,000 units. The Horizon Series Desert Rising package carries a price of $13,695, while the 2026 Bronco Outer Banks starts at $50,185. Orders are now open. The Desert Rising Special Edition marks Ford’s first product following the reorganization of its customization business. Ford has consolidated its original equipment accessories, racing components, and Custom Garage divisions into a new Customization department, aiming to streamline the personalization process while maintaining factory warranty coverage and offering factory-installed options. According to Ford, nearly half of all buyers customize their vehicles to some degree.
