Man Converts E-Bike into Mobile Home with Shower, Toilet, Kitchen, and Laundry

A man has heavily modified his own electric vehicle to function as a livable space. While the exterior appears identical to a standard EV, the interior integrates numerous living amenities. The roof features an electrically deployable pop-up tent reinforced with carbon fiber panels, allowing two people to rest on top of the vehicle. Inside, the cabin includes a foldable table, an electric ceramic cooktop, a tea station machine, and a refrigerator. The front seats support functions such as boiling water, brewing tea, and even hotpot cooking. The rear floor is equipped with an electric heating system, and 220V power outlets are installed on the inner door panels. A concealed sink is hidden beneath the center rear seat, while a compact toilet is tucked under the right-side seat. When in use, the toilet pairs with plastic bags, an electric privacy curtain, frosted glass, and an exhaust fan to ensure both privacy and ventilation. Beneath the floor lies a stainless-steel area with drainage holes connected to a hidden showerhead; occupants can take showers inside the vehicle via voice control, with a shower curtain preventing water splashes. When the rear seatbacks are folded flat, they form a double bed. The trunk houses a complete set of cooking equipment—including knives, a cutting board, an induction cooktop, and spice containers—as well as a compact washing machine with a drying function. This modification was entirely tailored to the owner’s personal needs and was not designed with mass-production safety standards in mind. Certain features, such as the placement of 220V outlets near the bathing area, pose potential electrical safety hazards.
