Nie Qiang Appointed CEO of FAW Hongqi, Takes Full Charge of Marketing

FAW Group recently announced a personnel reshuffle, appointing Nie Qiang—formerly Deputy General Manager of FAW Toyota and Party Secretary as well as General Manager of FAW Toyota Sales Company—as CEO of the Hongqi brand. Nie will now oversee all business operations of the group’s Marketing Center (i.e., Hongqi Sales Company), including sales, after-sales service, channel development, and brand marketing. The position had remained vacant for 15 months following the departure of its previous incumbent in April 2025.
