Denza Z9S Launches Pre-sales on August 3 with Dual Powertrain Options

The Denza Z9S is scheduled to open for pre-sales on August 3 at 19:30. Positioned as a tech-luxury intelligent sedan, the vehicle features a roof-mounted LiDAR, an autonomous driving indicator light (“Blue Light”), semi-recessed door handles, and an active rear spoiler. The rear may also feature an illuminated logo. The interior adopts a purple-and-white two-tone color scheme, with a floating central touchscreen and extensive piano-black trim on the dashboard. The headliner can be optionally finished in Alcantara material, while a limited number of physical buttons are retained for convenience. The seats feature a wrap-around design. The Z9S has a wheelbase of 3,025 mm and accommodates five passengers. It will be offered in two powertrain variants, both sharing identical body dimensions: length of 5,090 mm, width of 1,980 mm, and heights of 1,510 mm (standard-power version) and 1,490 mm (high-power version), respectively. The standard-power variant has a curb weight of 2,250 kg and a gross vehicle weight of 2,700 kg. It rides on tires sized 245/50R19 (front) and 275/45R19 (rear), with a top speed of 250 km/h. It is powered by a permanent-magnet synchronous motor produced by BYD Auto (Zhengzhou) Co., Ltd., delivering a peak power output of 320 kW and a rated power of 160 kW. The vehicle uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells manufactured by BYD Industrial (Hefei) Co., Ltd., with the battery pack assembled by FinDreams Battery (Shanwei) Co., Ltd. Standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof and an Event Data Recorder (EDR). Optional features include an electric rear spoiler, different exterior mirror designs, alternative door handle styles, and an onboard ETC device. The high-power variant weighs 2,545 kg (curb) and 3,017 kg (gross), equipped with 245/45R20 (front) and 275/40R20 (rear) tires, and shares the same top speed of 250 km/h. Its motor delivers a peak power of 370 kW and a rated power of 185 kW.
