BYD Han EV Specs Revealed: AWD Model Hits 0-100 km/h in 3.8s, Up to 1,008 km Range

BYD Dynasty Network has unveiled key specifications for its first D-segment flagship sedan, the "Han." The vehicle measures 5,256 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. In terms of performance, the all-wheel-drive variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h. The all-electric version achieves a maximum CLTC-rated range of 1,008 km, which BYD claims is the longest pure-electric range globally among large sedans. The new model will debut at the Chengdu Auto Show in August and will be offered in both all-electric and plug-in hybrid variants. The all-electric version comes in single-motor and dual-motor configurations: the single-motor variant delivers 370 kW, while the dual-motor setup features a front motor rated at 200 kW and a rear motor rated at 370 kW. The plug-in hybrid version is powered by a 1.5T engine paired with an electric motor producing a maximum output of 200 kW. Battery capacity differs between variants: the all-electric model uses a 102.326 kWh battery pack, while the plug-in hybrid is equipped with a 54.489 kWh battery pack. According to data released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the all-electric Han offers multiple CLTC range options—820 km, 850 km, 880 km, and 1,008 km.
