The interiors of the GWM Ora 5 GT and the Ora 5 Sport have been gradually unveiled, offering black and white color schemes accented with yellow or red stitching for a striking contrast. Both models feature a panoramic sunroof and a floating center console display. Positioned as an urban fashion statement, the Ora 5 Sport emphasizes integrating sporty aesthetics into everyday driving, while the Ora 5 GT focuses on handling and dynamic performance, targeting young customers seeking individuality. Both new models will be officially launched soon and are already slated for export markets—the Ora 5 Sport is already available at dealerships. The all-electric Ora 5 debuted in December 2023, with an official manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) ranging from RMB 99,800 to RMB 133,800, and a limited-time trade-in offer priced between RMB 91,800 and RMB 125,800. It measures 4,471 mm in length, 1,833 mm in width (1,844 mm for certain variants), and 1,641 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. The vehicle is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 150 kW and offers two battery range options: 480 km and 580 km (CLTC). In April 2024, GWM introduced gasoline and hybrid versions of the Ora 5, with an official starting price of RMB 79,800 and a limited-time trade-in offer starting at RMB 69,800. The hybrid variant features GWM’s next-generation Hi4 intelligent hybrid technology, delivering a combined system output of 166 kW and peak torque of 476 N·m, with seamless start-stop functionality, smooth gear shifts, and linear acceleration. The gasoline version is equipped with a sixth-generation 1.5T high-efficiency engine paired with a third-generation dual-clutch transmission, producing peak torque of 275 N·m as early as 1,500 rpm and maintaining strong output up to 4,000 rpm.
