On July 30, China's first 100-ton-class all-electric, bi-directional, autonomous mining dump truck, the AT150, entered service at the Nantian Open-Pit Coal Mine operated by SPIC Inner Mongolia Company. With a rated payload capacity of 136 tons, the vehicle integrates three key technologies: all-electric propulsion, bi-directional driving, and autonomous operation. It is primarily used for coal and overburden haulage in open-pit mines, marking a significant advancement in China's development of large-scale, heavy-duty mining transport equipment that is high-end, intelligent, and environmentally sustainable.
