On July 31, the Zhijie brand under Harmony Intelligent Mobility released the first installment of its Q&A series for the Zhijie RX via official channels, detailing the vehicle’s product positioning, target audience, launch timeline, and technical specifications. The Zhijie RX is Harmony Intelligent Mobility’s first SUV bearing the “X” designation, emphasizing a balanced performance in safety, driving dynamics, technology, and design. According to the company, from the very beginning of the project, the vehicle was positioned as a “premium model,” focusing on creating a closed-loop system for intelligent driving safety across all scenarios. It has undergone meticulous refinement in areas such as chassis, suspension, steering, powertrain responsiveness, and performance tuning to deliver a more engaging driving experience. Additionally, the vehicle integrates several industry-first technologies, including Huawei’s next-generation “Giant Whale” battery platform, a four-LiDAR sensor array, a full-chain redundant architecture supporting advanced intelligent driving, and the industry’s first electromagnetic thermal control die-casting technology. The Zhijie RX targets what the company describes as “pioneers among elites”—accomplished individuals in phases of personal growth, career advancement, or life maturity—who are rational yet open-minded and value the quality of life enhanced by technology and driving. Pre-orders for the vehicle will open in August, with the company stressing its strategy of “competing on value, not price.”
