Buick Zhi Jing L7 EV Launches Pre-sales on August 5 with Over 700km Range and 6C Fast Charging

The Buick Zhi Jing L7 EV will open for pre-orders on August 5. All variants come standard with an 800V architecture, powered by CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries and a single-motor layout delivering a maximum output of 282 kW and a top speed of 220 km/h. Under CLTC conditions, every version offers a range exceeding 700 km. The vehicle supports 6C ultra-fast charging technology—Buick claims a 10-minute charge adds 450 km of range—and features a 55°C temperature-controlled fast-charging system. Exterior-wise, the new model adopts Buick’s latest family design language, featuring Starry Sky Wing headlights and a transparent full-width taillight. It introduces two new color options: Star Sand Green and Falling Cherry Pink. Dimensions measure 5,032 mm in length, 1,952 mm in width, and 1,499 mm in height (1,507 mm for certain variants), with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and a 50-inch panoramic AR-HUD. Powered by the Qualcomm SA8775P chip, it also features the Buick Sound premium digital audio system with 27 speakers. The interior follows a “floating pressure-relief” design philosophy, incorporating a Preview Suspension Magic Carpet chassis that detects road irregularities up to 20 meters ahead. Additional highlights include an SPF100+ medical-grade sun-protection panoramic roof with instant dimming capability and Cloud-Feel Floating Pressure-Relief seats.
