Ferrari’s 2027 Production Fully Sold Out, Deliveries Now Slated for 2028

Ferrari has sold out its entire production capacity for the full year of 2027, and customers placing orders now will have to wait until at least 2028 to take delivery. The company stated that order intake continues to grow, driven by robust demand across global markets. Its current product lineup is in a transitional phase: the Amalfi, 849 Testarossa, 296 Speciale, and 296 Speciale A are being successively launched, while the 296 GTS, Roma Spider, SF90 XX, and SF90 XX Spider are gradually being phased out. Deliveries of the flagship supercar F80 are accelerating, and recent spy photos suggest that an open-top version, the F80 Aperta, may already be under development. The “FUV” Purosangue now offers a new Handling Speciale option package. Another yet-to-be-officially-unveiled model, the 12Cilindri Manuale—equipped with an analog manual transmission featuring an open-gate shifter—has also sold out entirely. Ferrari remains tight-lipped about its first all-electric model, Luce, referring to it only as “a milestone” in the brand’s history and a new addition to its portfolio. Despite growing order backlogs, deliveries in the first half of 2026 totaled 6,802 units, down 285 units year-over-year. The Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region accounted for nearly half of these deliveries, with internal combustion engine models representing 70% and hybrids making up the remaining 30%. Ferrari previously committed to launching five new models in 2026. So far, the Amalfi Spider, Luce, and 12Cilindri Manuale have been unveiled. Whether the HC25 counts as the fourth model remains debated, as it is a one-off based on the F8 Spider. The next new model could be the 296 Challenge Stradale or a similarly positioned variant. The exact launch timing for the F80 Aperta has not been confirmed and could fall in either 2026 or 2027.
