From July 30 to 31, the Department of Equipment Industry I under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology conducted on-site inspections at Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., NIO Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd., and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp., Ltd. The inspections focused on evaluating these manufacturers' capabilities in product safety assurance and production consistency for road motor vehicles. The initiative aims to standardize competition within the automotive industry and enhance the consistency, quality, and safety of automotive products. Inspectors specifically verified whether the companies maintained required production access conditions, including their capabilities in safeguarding intelligent connected vehicles, design and development, manufacturing, and ensuring production consistency. During the inspections, sample vehicles and traction batteries were randomly selected on-site and sent to authorized testing institutions for compliance verification against relevant national standards.
