FAW Hongqi Launches All-New Tiangong 08; 670 Max Priced at ¥179,900 for Limited Time

FAW Hongqi launched its all-new Tiangong 08 on the afternoon of August 1, offering only one trim—the 670 Max—at a limited-time promotional price of RMB 179,900. The vehicle measures 4,925 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It features Hongqi New Energy’s signature illuminated贯穿-style emblem on a closed front fascia, complemented by L-shaped split LED headlights and a vertical Hongqi badge running through the front end. Two new exterior paint options—Midnight Blue and Ink Bamboo Green—are available, along with flush door handles, a two-tone floating roof, and optional 21-inch sport wheels. Inside, the Tiangong 08 is equipped with the Lingxi intelligent cockpit featuring dual 15.6-inch displays. Built on Hongqi’s self-developed Feiren Architecture 4.0 and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, the system reserves 30% to 40% computational headroom for future upgrades. The car comes with Hongqi’s Sinan L2-level advanced driver-assistance system. Under the hood, the entire lineup is standard with an 800V high-voltage platform. The 670 Max variant uses a single-motor layout delivering a maximum output of 257 kW and peak torque of 450 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.8 seconds. It offers a CLTC-rated range of 670 kilometers on a single charge and supports 10%–80% fast charging in just 12 minutes.
