Hyundai and Kia sold a combined total of 131,032 electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe in the first half of 2024, up 41.8% from 92,365 units during the same period in 2023. As of May 2024, cumulative EV sales by the two companies in Europe have surpassed one million units. If current sales momentum continues, their combined annual EV sales in Europe for 2024 are on track to exceed 200,000 units for the first time since entering the market in 2014, reaching a new record high.
