GAC Aion reported sales of 34,987 units in July, up 31.74% year-over-year. Among these, the Aion i60 model sold 11,186 units, maintaining monthly sales above the 10,000-unit mark for consecutive months. In April this year, GAC Group announced a comprehensive brand refresh for its three self-owned brands—Trumpchi, Aion, and Hyper. As part of this initiative, the Aion brand was upgraded to “Smart Joyful Living,” emphasizing three core values: fashion, intelligence, and peace of mind, accompanied by a new brand logo. On July 28, GAC Aion launched a new vehicle series named “Ray,” with its first model, the “Ray 7,” positioned as an all-electric sedan targeting young consumers.
